Certified organic and biodynamic with 20% whole bunch inclusion and maturation taking placed in 25 hL French oak foudres (50% new and 50% two year old) for a period of 16 months. Impenetrable inky black heart with a deep bright dark purple black tinged hue. Fantastic vibrant aromas of blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and blueberry which are complimented by vanillin cedar, dark chocolate and spice. A chorus of rich, lush blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits cascade across the full bodied palate with tremendous force and textural volume. Lying underneath are notions of spicy vanillin cedar, inky earth like elements and peppered dried herbs. Very polished with velvety yet structurally firm tannins seamlessly integrated with the opulent fruit. The epic finish a marriage of freshness, power and decadence.
