The Yamazakura Cherry EX Fine Old Blended Whisky is a Japanese whisky produced by Sasanokawa Shuzo, a distillery founded in 1765. Originally established as a sake and shochu producer, Sasanokawa Shuzo ventured into whisky production in the 1940s. The Yamazakura brand represents their dedication to crafting approachable yet refined whisky expressions.
Nose: Aromas of cherry blossoms, light oak, honey, and subtle vanilla.
Palate: A smooth and light texture with hints of stone fruits, sweet malt, and delicate spices.
Finish: Clean and slightly dry, with lingering notes of wood and soft fruit.
