Wines of Merritt Vermentino 2017
The fruit was hand-picked and wild fermented using cloudy juice in stainless steel, this helps layer texture. No added acid, no malolactic, the wine has been filtered gently and no fining took place to retain the textural nature of the wine. Bottled at just under 11% this Vermentino shows all the oyster shell & saline character we often find in Sardinian examples. Bright, fresh & clean (though with texture)
