Clone 76 from the eastern side of Cowaramup, this site has cooler nights and ripens about 10 days later than more western Wilyabrup. It’s elegant, restrained and flavour builds on the long palate. Hand-picked, chilled overnight, then whole-bunch pressed straight to barrel, one new – water bent rather than fire for a more subtle integration. Funky wild ferment with full solids then on fine lees, stirring gently every four weeks for a total of seven months ageing. Bottled unfined & unfiltered. Elegant, fine & restrained.
