Wangolina Syrah 2022
Wangolina is a small producer that grows grapes in Mt Benson and makes wine from vineyards throughout the Limestone Coast. Anita Goode, the owner and Winemaker of Wangolina, was nominated as a finalist in this year's Young Gun of Wine for Australia. With an eclectic range of modern traditional and alternative varietals, we've selected a few of our favourites for you to choose from.
This Shiraz is one of the originals, hence the name. However, it's not too big and oaky like the Shiraz we're all accustomed to. The Syrah is an elegant, young and modern wine with a perfumed nose and many aromas, including pepper, star anise, and mulberries. We enjoy this wine for now, but we also imagine it would Cellar well given the quality.
