This complex and alluring single malt showcases the rich character of European oak quietly supported by light, sweet notes of American oak.
Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry-seasoned casks purposefully build layers of flavour that announce themselves at every turn. The Glenturret 12 Year Old masterfully nurtures lighter citrus fruit and soft vanilla tones as they navigate a pathway of warming wood spices and toasted oak.
Caramelised citrus with light vanilla and cinnamon. Dried stone fruit appears later dressed with soft wood spice, ginger, nutmeg and toasted oak lead to a warm, lingering finish.
