Takahiro Koyama's new label, sourced from the Pearson Vineyard in Waipara Valley, showcases an ouroboros, an ancient symbol of a dragon consuming its own tail, representing rebirth and renewal.
The wine is a ruby-crimson in the glass, with energetic, enticing aromas of cranberry, cherry, cinnamon, woody herbs, plum, acacia and lilac. Youthful palate exudes fruit, supple tannins, and balanced acidity, textured and subtly spiced, this wine is delightful right now but also promises a long and promising future with cellaring.
