Aged in a combination of French (25% new) and American oak. Dense inky black heart with a very deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense blackberry, cassis, dark plum and liquorice aromas mix with distinct dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and earthy mocha notes. Full, voluptuous and decadently rich the palate is engulfed with lush black plum, blackberry, liquorice, dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak, mocha and spice flavours. Possessing outstanding power and volume it has silky smooth tannins concluding long and opulent.
