The Simon Colin wine estate is located in the magnificent Burgundy region, more specifically in the emblematic village of Chassagne-Montrachet. It is renowned for its traditional know-how and commitment to quality. Each bottle from Domaine Simon Colin is the result of meticulous work, from cultivation of the vines to bottling. Simon makes every effort to preserve the purity of flavour and authenticity of each appellation he produces.
The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Vergers 1er Cru, consisting of two barrels this year, has quite a primal nose, grapefruit mixed with nectarine and a touch of ginger. The palate is fresh and zest, touches of orange rind and peach skin, certainly with greater complexity compared to the Les Chaumées, tensile through to the finish.
