Sigurd's Barossa Syrah is a vibrant expression of the region, boasting wild blueberry notes intertwined with subtle cedary oak. Comprising 96% Syrah and 4% Viognier sourced from two different sites, this wine is a harmonious blend of fruit and structure. Fermented for 20 days with around 20% whole bunch and a matured in oak for 12 months before bottling.
Sourced from organically managed vineyards in Vine Vale and Ebenezer, this medium-bodied red showcases the brightness of Barossa fruit, with notes of black olive, tapenade, and chocolate from Ebenezer, and luscious richness alongside savoury, driving power from Vine Vale. 20% new oak rounds out the profile, enhancing the wine's structure and balance.
