Scout Central Otago Riesling 2022
This wine is based on Sarah's German experiences with Riesling, hand picked, gently pressed before a long and cold slow fermentation (11 months!).
The fruit for the 2022 Riesling is from a super steep north facing slope on the edge of a glacial terrace, in the Pisa subregion of Central Otago. A mixture of Greywacke and Schist glacial rock with a thin covering of wind blown loess, the grapes are from an organic certified vineyard. - From the Winery
