La Prova Fiano 2023
Amadio Vineyard, Kersbrook, Adelaide Hills. La Prova Uno Fiano is made from the first little pilot block planted in the Adelaide Hills in 2005. Grown by Caj and Genny Amadio in their Kersbrook vineyard, at the warmer, drier northern end of the ‘Hills. Sandy loam soils over weathered schist.There are floral, spicy and citrus aromas with a sublime textural palate.
Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed directly to old French oak barrels for wild ferment and a few months resting on lees. Unfined and unfiltered.
