Cool-climate, Basket Pressed Syrah – but make it New Zealand. New Zealand might not be the first place you think of for Syrah, but the 2021 Novum Syrah proves it should be. Sourced from low-yielding vines in Marlborough, with a touch of Viognier in the blend, this wine brings a refined, cool-climate expression of Syrah—think blackberry, violet, and pepper, wrapped in silky tannins and fresh acidity. If you love Northern Rhône Syrah, this is one to have on your radar.
