14 days on skins, before being pressed to tank and settled briefly prior to malolactic in a combination of new (25%), two and three year old barrels. 16 months maturation in wood prior to being blended, settled, clarified and bottled.
The 2024 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon hails from the Shook vineyard in Yallingup (Margaret River's northern reaches) and leads from the glass with an abundance of dark fruit, exotic spices and tapenade. In the mouth, the wine is structurally firm, populated by succulent Cabernet fruit, and pliable in texture. There are notes of dried bay and tobacco, graphite, lead pencil and blackcurrant pastille.
