100% Chardonnay from the Robinson Vineyard
Clones 95 & 96. Hand harvested, whole bunch pressed, 100% wild yeast fermentation in French oak barrels, no new 70% second fill oak. Natural malolactic in barrel. 10 months in wood on lees with 1 racking prior to bottling.
There’s a power to this chardonnay. It’s all white peach and nectarine, cedar-spice and preserved lemon, with chalk and almond characters woven into the wine’s very texture.
