A rare and beautifully curated pairing, this bundle unites the finesse of Michel Couvreur’s Young Blossoming Single Cask (PX Butt Edition) with the deep, time-worn richness of Toro Albalá Don PX 1984.

To give you a glimpse into the maturation process, Michel Couvreur have released a limited version of their Blossoming Whisky, aged 11 years in a single Pedro Ximénez Butt sourced from the renowned house Toro Albalá. 

This special edition - limited to 620 bottles worldwide -  is presented together with the very same Pedro Ximénez, now 40 years old,  to complete a tasting journey shaped by notes of dates, figs, and deep sherry richness. 

The Whisky:

Fresh barley, soft vanilla, honeyed malt, and gentle oak on the nose along with hints of orchard fruits and light florals add lift and brightness. Smooth and youthful on the palate with notes of sweet malt, white peach, citrus zest, and creamy vanilla. A touch of spice and subtle minerality typical of Couvreur’s sherry-driven maturation.

Clean, elegant, and lightly warming with lingering malt sweetness on the finish.

The Sherry:

Nose: Intense aromas of raisins, figs, molasses, and dark caramel. Deep, rich, and wonderfully aromatic.
Palate: Velvety and syrup-like with layers of dried fruits, dark chocolate, toffee, and spiced oak. A powerful yet balanced PX with remarkable depth after decades of aging.
Finish: Long, sweet, and luxurious with lingering notes of dates and cocoa.
