Michel Couvreur Spirale Chapter IV Single Malt 500ml
One of only 380 bottles worldwide, his 12-year-old whisky was distilled in Scotland in 2010 using a variety of Golden Promise barley. It was aged in the semi-humid cellar of the Maison Couvreur and in an old barrel impregnated with Vin de Paille (a sweet Jura wine made from a selection of grapes dried on straw for 4-6 months) from Stéphane Tissot. A whisky with a high concentration of vinous aromas and a touch of alluring salinity.
The Savagnin notes become very elegant and fruity thanks to the toasted cereal aromas, giving the whisky an elegant balance. Its aromas are reminiscent of quince paste, a concentrate of aromatic and fruity forward notes. there's nothing else like it and you'll be sure to discover more with every taste.
