From the high-altitude Naimanya vineyard in the cool Flaxman’s Valley, this Shiraz is an absolute stunner. With its 520m elevation, the vineyard’s sandy loam, gravel, and quartz over clay soils give this wine an intense purity and elegance. Michael Hall has really pulled out all the stops here—handpicked, with 70% destemmed and 30% whole bunch fruit, and aged in French oak for 20 months. What you get is a beautifully crafted Shiraz that balances power and finesse. Think dark fruits like blueberry and raspberry, a touch of spearmint, and violet nuances, all wrapped in fine tannins. It’s a wine with deep complexity, incredible precision, and a finish that lingers like a well-kept secret.
