Distilled and bottled by Heaven Hill Distillery in Kentucky, it’s a Bottled-in-Bond expression, meaning it’s at least four years old, crafted at one distillery in a single season, and bottled at 50% ABV. This makes it one of the most authentic, no-nonsense whiskies available today.
Unlike bourbon, which requires at least 51% corn, Mellow Corn is made from a mash bill that is at least 80% corn. The result is a whiskey that’s softer, sweeter, and more approachable, while still delivering the bold kick you’d expect from a bottled-in-bond release.
On the nose, you’ll find toasted corn, light vanilla, and hints of honey. The palate brings buttery toffee, fresh popcorn, oak spice, and a lingering sweetness that balances beautifully with its higher proof.
