This Pinot Gris is spot on for those looking for a traditional look at the variety that offers a little more texture than usual. This comes from a neighbouring vineyard in Healesville. Freshness and clarity of fruit is front and centre. It's so good to see a more traditional styling of Gris that is still made with intention and attention to detail. Very easy to drink and lots to love.
"From a small block in Healesville, next door to Mayer. Whole bunches pressed to neutral oak. Light and lively with aromas of white pear, spice, dried honey and nutty tones.
