Luca Fedrigo continues in the tradition of his mentor, legendary Amarone producer Giuseppe Quintarelli. L’Arco is a passionate, small-batch winery nestled in Negrar di Valpolicella, one of the seven villages of the Valpolicella Classico area. The estate was founded in 2001 by Luca Fedrigo the name “L’Arco” reflects the historic stone arch (Arco di Giove) near his family’s farmhouse in the hamlet of Santa Maria.
50% Corvina and Corvinone, 30% Rondinella, 15% Sangiovese Grosso, 5% MolinaraThis wine represents an estate blend with classic Valpolicella grapes; Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, along with the secret ingredient, Sangiovese. From three vineyard sites, the Sangiovese is planted south near the Adige River with alluvial soils, the native grapes planted
on rocky, clay soils in the Classico zone. Sangiovese planted in 2004, whilst the remaining grapes are coplanted and over 50years of age.
Classically framed with that little nod to Quintarelli - this is a cracking entry to the wines of both Luca and the region.
