2020 was an excellent year all round. Yields were very low and intense flavours developed across all varieties. We use a diversity of individual wines in barrel to work for this blend. This vibrant, youthful purple wine has the aroma of dark berry, pepper spice and spicy oak, while the palate has layers of dark and red berries, dark chocolate, spicy oak and silky, fine-grained tannins. An elegant wine with great balance, length and intensity, it would go well with roasted or grilled meats such as beef or venison or just a simple burger on the BBQ, as well as hard cheeses such as cheddar and parmesan for that pre-dinner party snack.
