Kirrihill Watervale Partner Series Riesling 2024
Alexandra Alavoine has made her way from Lab tech in 2018 to Head Winemaker running the cellar team as of 2023, a year that coincided with some of the best Riesling that Kirrihill have released, with their 2023 Regional Riesling smoking most trophies at most capital city wine shows. The 2024 Vintage is being hailed as exceptional in the Clare.
The 2024 Partner Series is sourced from 1970s planted vines on their estate vineyard in the Southern Clare Valley. It's a slightly more expressive bottling than the Regional release, offering up chalk, talc, key lime, tarragon and some exotic tropical elements driven by a core tensile acidity that carries these textured delicious characters. Immediately approachable and undeniably delicious this is a Riesling team pumping out quality!
