Kilkerran Heavily Peated Cask Strength Single Malt 700ml 2023
The tenth batch of heavily peated Kilkerran comes matured in 90% ex-Bourbon and 10% ex-Sherry casks. As with previous editions, even though these are relatively young whiskies, they showcase the distillery style first and foremost. Expect a robust coastal malt, dappled with citrus, pepper and mineral notes, but most of all, peat, especially on the finish. Think cask strength Ledaig or Longrow... 57.8% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
