Kilchoman Single Sauternes Cask Australian Release Single Malt 700ml
An eight year old single cask release bottled exclusively for the Australian market. matured in a Bourbon barrel for six and a half years and finish in a fresh Sauternes hogshead for eighteen months.
Beginning with fresh apricots and vanilla with that unmistakably Kilchoman peat profile on the nose, the palate opens to a rich honey-sweetness with baked bread, almonds and toasted oak. The finish is long and malty, with dried fruits and Kilchomans signature citrus character shining through.
