Jacques Prieur Meursault Perrieres Premier Cru 2019
100% Chardonnay from Jacques Prieur aged in oak barrels for 19 months. Warm, slightly toasted, chalk notes on the nose. On the palate, very beautiful texture with density. Spicy, lemony notes. Mouth-watering and crisp finish.
Once again there is a touch of mineral reduction to the more elegant aromas of green apple, white flower and citrus peel, all of which is trimmed in discreet wood influence. The racy and almost painfully intense middle weight flavors brim with minerality on the lingering finish where the wood telegraphed by the nose reappears.
