100% Shiraz grown on the Wheelwright Vineyard on the Henschke Eden Valley property, managed with organic and biodynamic practices.

Matured in 10% new and 90% seasoned French oak hogsheads for 20 months prior to blending and bottling.

Voluminous amounts of pantry and baking spice leap out of the glass with dried herbs, white pepper, tar and gravel as well as this beautifully savoury melange of blood plums, bricked earth and olive tapenade. It's such a composed wine, as are all of these 2022s with really polished, refined and phenolically ripe tannins that frame this dark brooding, sweet fruited, blue/bramble level of fruit.
