Guy Amiot is another subscriber to natural viticulture and wine-making is fourth generation Amiot grower Thierry Amiot who is very serious about quality and committed to terroir. They have great value Saint-Aubin’s. First-class holdings in Chassagne- Montrachet including the Premier Cru’s Chaumees, Les Champsgains, Les Vergers, and Les Caillerets. Add to this the delightful Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Les Demoiselles and the monumental Le Montrachet Grand Cru; this is one very serious Domaine. The Amiot wines are rich yet taut with orchard and stone fruit flavors and display a mineral infused texture. Use of oak is there but barely noticeable, very classy and totally applicable to each wine’s vibrant personality.
Pale gold with green shades. Fresh and refined bouquet developing flavours of citrus and white fleshed fruit combined with light oaky, smoky hints. Fresh, perfumed and smooth on palate with delicate spicy finish.
