This is a remarkable wine, reflecting the unique characteristics of the Mornington Peninsula terroir. In the glass, it presents a pale golden colour with a slight green tinge, indicative of its freshness and vibrancy.
The palate is elegant and well-structured, with a harmonious balance between fruit and acidity. Crisp flavours of green apple, pear, and lime dominate, while layers of melon and a touch of tropical fruit add depth and complexity. The mid-palate reveals a creamy texture, likely due to partial malolactic fermentation and lees stirring, enhancing the mouthfeel without overpowering the fruit profile. Gentle oak influence imparts hints of vanilla, almond, and a slight toastiness, providing additional layers of flavour.
