The Thomson family's connection to Scotch whisky dates back to 1772 and spans nine generations. From the original Old Perth blend created by Peter Thomson to the exceptional casks quietly laid down by Michael Thomson decades ago, the family's history has always been shaped by patience and stewardship.
Today, Finn Thomson continues that tradition, bottling remarkable single casks only when they have reached what he believes is their perfect moment.

Linkwood has long been admired for its elegant Speyside character, producing a spirit known for its floral notes, fruit-forward style and refined balance. This exceptional single cask from Finn Thomson Whisky brings together that classic distillery character with a carefully selected Jamaican rum cask finish, creating a whisky with a unique connection and sense of place.

Distilled in 2014 and matured for 11 years, this single cask spent its final year in a Jamaican rum cask. The finish lifts Linkwood’s naturally elegant spirit with layers of tropical fruit, demerara sweetness and gentle spice, while preserving the refined character for which the distillery is renowned.

Bottled at its natural strength of 55.8% ABV, this release reflects Finn Thomson’s approach to cask selection: finding exceptional combinations of spirit and wood that reveal something unexpected. A whisky that celebrates both craftsmanship and the Thomson family’s connection to Jamaica.
