This is an incredibly rare and unique Sangiovese. Almost pinot-like in structure, this wine is packed with silky red fruits, red cherry and redcurrants with some hints of bramble and spice. Tannins are ripe and super fine, coupled with a defining line of acid that lifts and lengthens the palate. Bright red with purple reflections for an elegant and supple wine, with floral notes in evidence, between rose petals, lavender and helichrysum, and a sprinkling of licorice. The spicy note emerges together with the fruit from the center of the glass with a powerful expressive energy. On the palate it becomes three-dimensional and at the same time pulsating like the message of a morse signal: the length of the currant and pomegranate, the peppery touch, the vibrant spice of cardamom, the balsamic touch of dried mint. At the end of the sip opens rhythmically on juicy freshness, accompanied in the finesse of the tannin by the enveloping intensity of the wood, between boxwood and humus, with Burgundy suggestions.
