A mixture of domaine and purchased grapes that are vinified together, Faiveley's 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Saint-Georges wafts from the glass with notes of sweet berries, plums, espresso roast, dark chocolate and spices. Sunshine and water work together in Les St-Georges, so the fruit ripens easily. Since 2016 the wine has been half and half domaine and purchased fruit, vinified together, plus one barrel from the Hospices de Nuits auction added in 2019. Overall 14%.
