Escarpment Chardonnay 2018
Sourced primarily from the home block on Te Muna Road on the Martinborough Terrace. A chardonnay of distinction and complexity with striking minerality and a typical varietal character reminiscent of it's terroir and Escarpment's winemaking philosophy.
Flavours are reminiscent of white stone fruit with delightful soft texture ensuring a long commanding finish. Partial malolactic fermentation and lees stirring has enhanced the texture, complexity and mouth feel allowing it to match most entree dishes and seafood.
