95% Grenache, 5% Mataro - From the Stonegarden Vineyard, Eden Valley. Organically farmed, single block planted in 1858 (168yo vines). The soils are comprised of granitic rock and sand with quartz seams and some mica laden clay. Elevation 395m. Handpicked. 100% whole-bunch fermentation for 21 days. Aged in French oak hogsheads for 16months. No fining or filtration.
