A true legend of his native German homeland, not to mention the world of fine wine, Ernst Loosen is capable of extraordinary things when it comes to the noble Riesling grape. The esteemed Bernkasteler Lay vineyard, located literally a stone's throw from the Mosel River, has a reputation for producing opulent wines, full of texture and unprecedented character. As per the norm, exquisite acidity rounds out gentle sweetness on a palate glistening with delicate floral, apple, citrus and gentle stone fruit characters.
