Domaine Yvon Clerget has a rich Burgundy tradition dating back to the 17th century. The estate was revived by Thibaud Clerget, a young and dynamic winemaker who has been at the helm since 2015. Thibaud strives for purity and precision in his wines, working with minimal intervention in both the vineyard and the cellar to fully express the characteristics of the terroir. Les Perrières is one of the most prestigious premier cru vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet. The name "Perrières" refers to the stony, chalky soil that contributes to the wine's minerality and finesse. The soil is rich in limestone, ideal for producing refined Chardonnay. Its south-facing slopes offer optimal sun exposure and cool nights, ensuring perfect grape ripeness. The wine is fermented and aged in French oak barrels, approximately 20-25% of which are new. This adds a subtle spice and structure without overpowering the fruit. Thibaud Clerget uses natural yeasts and works with great attention to detail to preserve the expression of the terroir.

This wine shows light golden yellow with a bright sheen. It has elegant aromas of white flowers, citrus (lemon and lime), ripe apple, pear, and subtle notes of hazelnut and vanilla. This is followed by a palate showing a beautiful balance of freshness, power, and refinement. Flavours of citrus, stone fruit, and a subtle minerality are supported by lively acidity and a silky texture. The finish is long and complex, with notes of toasted almonds and a refreshing minerality.
