Domaine Thibert Pouilly-Fuisse Vignes Blanches 2019
Classic white Burgundy from the Macon, Thibert Père et Fils is a family owned Domaine. Winemaker siblings Christophe and Sandrine have been devotees to organic farming since 1998, they have 22 hectares planted to Chardonnay in and around Fuissé and short-prune for low yields. Combine this with judicious use of oak and minimal filtration to produce a superb array of compelling wines. Stylistically the wines are beautifully rich with flavor yet fine, taut and complex and deliver terrific expression of place. This is a really exciting Estate producing complex and exciting wines.
