Henri Boillot Chambertin Grand Cru 2021
Domaine Henri Boillot is a producer based in Meursault, renowned for its wine produced on the Cote de Beaune. They work to incredibly high standards, in order to create complex, precise wines. They are devoted to their terroir, and try to weave the distinctive character of the land into each and every wine.
This expressed beautiful floral, dirty berry, and earthy components on the nose. It was beautifully textured on the palate, with intense raspberry fruit and awesome, beautifully intense structure. The finish is similar, with the dirty raspberry, though very gritty, gripping tannic power.
