Domaine Fourrier Latricières Chambertin Grand Cru 2017

The 2017 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru has an engaging nose with brambly red berry fruit, pressed rose petals, orange essence and light marmalade aromas. The palate is vivacious and full of energy. There is great tension here, citrus-fresh with orange rind and quince notes infusing the red fruit towards the finish, though it does not possess quite the length of the Mazoyères-Chambertin. Still, this has a lot of potential.(NM) 92-94 Vinous

An airy, cool and elegant nose reflects aromas of red cherry, plum, earth and a whisper of the sauvage. There is terrific intensity to the beautifully delineated mineral-driven flavors that possess a refined mouthfeel before culminating in a saline, highly persistent and linear finish that is borderline strict today. This will clearly benefit from at least a few years of cellaring to better flesh out and ultimately, it should be excellent. 91-94 points Burghound
The 2017 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru is very pretty, unfurling in the glass with notes of cassis, wild plums, warm spices and forest floor. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, lively and incisive, with melting tannins and a mouthwateringly mineral finish. 90 - 92 points Wine Advocate
