Coquard Loison Fleurot is a renowned winery located in the heart of Morey Saint Denis, in the Burgundy region of France. With a history dating back to the 19th century, the winery is known for producing exceptional wines that showcase the unique terroir of the region.

No whole bunches here, with 25% new wood for the elevage. A little deeper in purple than the Chambolle, with a fine dark raspberry fruit. Drier wood tannins behind but they will integrate as there is a very adequate level of fruit. Plenty of energy to finish. Drink from 2025-2030 89 - 91 points Jasper Morris

Note: from Les Crais Gillon, Clos Solon, En Seuvrey and Corvée Creunille A much earthier and more deeply pitched nose reflects notes of plum, dark currant and a whiff of red pinot fruit. There is better volume and richness if not the same refinement to the nicely textured and persistent finale that gradually reveals a touch of austerity. 88 - 91 points Burghound
The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis Village is tightly wound on the nose, yet there is a little more fruit concentration vis-à-vis the preceding Chambolle-Musigny. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, quite lively with a delineated, black pepper tinged finish that urges you back for more. Early-drinking, but still well crafted. (NM) Vinous
