The 2021 Bourgogne Rouge has a pretty nose with cranberry, raspberry and a touch of stoniness. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy tannins. One third from Puligny, one third Hautes Côtes and one third Maranges declassified. Mid purple. Not noticeably a notably noble pinot nose – though apparently the pinot stock in the Hautes Côtes vineyard is pinot fin.
