Intrigue is a little softer and more comely than Isle, a little less ‘electric’, but gee, they are both such lovely wines.
A bit of cap gun and spice, cherry, redcurrant and dried roses. mint and sage. It’s fleshy, yet tight, with a rosehip tea and red fruit flavour, quite spicy, silty pumice stone tannin, a ‘mineral’ feel to it, and a very long finish. The Isle has a bit more X-Factor, but this is close on its heels.
