Chateau Arton La Reserve Armagnac 700Ml
Chateau Arton is a highly acclaimed, family-run vineyard and estate located in Lectoure, Gascony, renowned for its production of exceptional estate-grown wines and rare Haut-Armagnac AOC brandies.
Founded in 1979 by Patrick de Montal and Victoire de Montesquiou (descendants of the legendary musketeer d'Artagnan), the 88-hectare estate pioneered the concept that premium Armagnac is "grown, not produced" by handling everything from viticulture to distillation entirely on-site.
In recognition of their craftsmanship, Château Arton was awarded the prestigious Prix d'Excellence by the French Ministry of Agriculture in 2017. The estate's vineyards became fully certified organic in 2024 and are currently transitioning to biodynamic farming practice
A blend of Armagnacs, all Ugni Blanc, aged six years and over from the estate's own vineyards in the Haut Armagnac. An excellent expression of vibrant, young Armagnac. It's nose reveals aromas of chamomile and candied kumquat. It has a fruity (candied citrus fruits) and floral mid-palate.
