This microstructure is masterfully run by two wine enthusiasts who trained with eclectic and equally passionate professionals! They have a real interest in phytotherapy and place great emphasis on vinifying top-quality grapes grown by partner winegrowers. They aim high with this fine wine produced from the iconic Grand Cru of Corton Charlemagne. The Chardonnay grapes used to produce this wine thrive in an oceanic climate with semi-continental influences, drawing the nutrients they require from soils consisting of limestone, marl and clay. The wine is aged in oak casks, with a carefully considered proportion of new wood. Designed for long ageing, its yellow colour is tinged with gold, with a thick disk heralding generosity. On the palate, notes of white and yellow fruits, fresh butter and almonds, combine with vanilla and bread. The generous texture also reveals a remarkable minerality.

Sourced from 45 year old west-facing vines in En Charlemagne. Fuller yellow. This is quite reduced with some bacon fat showing as well. Good strong back bone to this, though the reductive character takes the lead at the moment. Grapefruit notes appear at the finish. Drink from 2026-2030. 91-94 Points - Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
