Campbeltown Loch is a highly regarded, non-chill-filtered blended malt bottled at 46% ABV by the J&A Mitchell group (owners of Springbank). It uniquely unites all five single malts from the region's three distilleries—Springbank, Longrow, Hazelburn, Kilkerran, and Glen Scotia—and is aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
The flavor profile is distinctly coastal and complex, featuring an oily mouthfeel that balances sweet sherry, tropical fruits, and maritime saltiness with a subtle, earthy peat smoke. Because it is a marriage of five distinct single malts, the flavor and cask dominance can vary slightly from batch to batch, offering a truly dynamic tasting experience.
