Bruichladdich’s Micro Provenance series is where the distillery’s experimental side truly comes to life, exploring how individual casks shape their unpeated spirit. This single cask release, matured in a sweet “vin doux naturel” wine cask, showcases a brighter, fruit driven side of Islay that stands apart from the island’s smoky reputation. It is precise, expressive and a little unconventional, offering a fresh perspective on what Islay whisky can be.
Nose:
Grapes, honey, citrus zest and soft floral notes with a gentle coastal lift.
Palate:
Sweet stone fruits, vanilla cream, light caramel and a subtle saline edge.
Finish:
Medium to long with fresh fruit, gentle spice and a clean, drying finish.
