Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Wonderful intense aromatics of freshly crushed blackberries, dark plums and liquorice which are complimented by vanillin oak, hints of earthy dark chocolate and spice. Bold and rich yet still relatively youthful, opulent blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits meld into a spicy vanillin oak, earth, dark chocolate and peppered mint back drop. Concentrated and powerful it has a polished yet underlyingly sturdy tannin structure. Concludes long, deeply fruited and spicy.
