'The 2021 Volnay Les Caillerets Ancienne Cuvee Carnot 1er Cru has quite an airy bouquet, harmonious and demonstrating more concentration than the Clos des Chenes. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh entry, orange zest and marmalade infusing the red fruit, quite linear with a tensile finish that lingers in the mouth.
