Boastful Barolo packed with raspberry, sour cherries and bright, intoxicating pomegranate. There's a heady mix of herb and spice on the nose and some more vegetal and leathery notes that add depth to the rich fruity palate. This classic Barolo blend brings together fruit from smaller yielding cru vineyards Lazzarito, Cerrati and Meriama, joining to create something greater than the sum of its parts. Drinking perfectly now, with maturity and grandeur.
"Tense and racy, this concentrated Barolo offers notes of dried strawberries, kirsch, ground spices and dried tangerine peel. Full-bodied, firm and compact with a sandy texture to the tannins and succulent fruit in the middle. It’s very attractive, but the tannins need a bit of time to integrate. Deep and lingering.
