Bottled in early 2026, Ardnamurchan Paul Launois remains a highly sought-after series within the distillery's portfolio. These releases are notable for being finished in 195-litre Champagne barriques from Paul Launois in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
Nose: Fresh, yeasty, and fruity, with prominent notes of white grapes, green grapes, pear drops, and lemon cake. It is often described asHaving a "fizzy/fermentation edge" with hints of red fruit, croissant, butter, and faint earthy coastal notes.
Palate: Highly aromatic and often quite dry, featuring intense white wine notes, green grapes, citrus zest, and tropical fruits like pineapple. The palate is often described as oily and creamy, featuring candied lemon peel, peppery spice (white pepper), ginger, clove, and a slight salinity
Finish: Long, intense, and typically characterized by a dry, tannic feel (similar to grape skins) alongside strong vanilla and lingering oak.
